Sunya holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Rhodes College and is set to graduate from St. George's University School of Medicine in 2025. With a strong passion for behavioral health and human psychology, Sunya's experience working with individuals with psychiatric disorders has deepened her fascination with the field. She is particularly drawn to the nuanced, high-touch approach of psychiatry, where professionals rely on empathetic understanding to identify and address complex mental health factors.
Driven by this interest, Sunya is pursuing a career in Psychiatry and will be applying for residency in Psychiatry. Currently, she volunteers as a crisis text counselor, providing critical support to those in need.
Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Sunya enjoys spending time with her cat and staying engaged with true crime podcasts.
Madison joins the AAA Team after serving 3 years as a dedicated mental health technician at CenterPointe Hospital, specializing in inpatient services for acute and detoxing patients. Known for her compassionate approach, she plays a vital role in supporting individuals during their most challenging times. Outside of her professional commitments, Madison is a devoted mother, with her daughter being her whole world. She also has a keen interest in forensic psychology and criminal justice, reflecting her passion for understanding complex human behaviors.
Annelise is a recent graduate of Saint Louis University with a B.S. in Neuroscience. As a Neuromodulation Technician, she enjoys a real-time perspective on the relationship between brain functioning and neuropsychiatric disorders. In the future, she hopes to continue a career in the mental health professions as a psychiatrist. In her free time, she likes to read, write, and play with her adorable pitbull, Tater-Tot.
Elizabeth Flock is a Neuromodulation Technician working in patient care and the precise, safe administration of repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Saint Louis University and works to effectively apply her knowledge of biology and psychology in the field of mental health. Outside of work, she likes to explore the lively art scene in St Louis and engage with the local community.
Misael is the newest member of our AAA Psyche Care team. He has more than 20 years of experience providing technical assistance and support to different organizations and individuals throughout his career. He maintains the hardware and software of our equipments in the most optimal conditions in order to provide all patients in our practice with quality service while keeping their information safe. Outside the practice, Misael is a big fan of the Seventh Art. Also, since he bought his first telescope more than 15 years ago, he has developed a great passion for Astronomy, which has led him to read different books on the subject, put together puzzles, and even create a software to register celestial bodies which he developed as a final project for his degree. You can ask him about black holes, cosmology and time travel and spend hours and hours talking about the subject.
Ashley Reed has always been drawn to roles where she can provide care and support to others in need, especially those faced with multiple challenges. She began her healthcare career in 1997 as a medical file clerk and steadily advanced through various positions, becoming certified by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) in 2002. After a family break, she continued her professional journey, becoming a certified Emergency Medical Technician/ BLS in 2017. Additionally, her personal experiences with medical challenges have deepened empathy and ability to put herself in her patients' shoes. With experience spanning intemal medicine, otolaryngology, emergency medicine, orthopedics, and psychiatry, Ashley now brings her patient-focused approach to her work managing the AAA team, where her priority remains the well-being of those in her care.
Tom Malone has over 20 years of experience in biomedical research and healthcare technology. He is the Founder and CEO of Precision TMS, a company that provides Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy for various neurological and neuropsychiatric disorders. Tom is passionate about improving the quality of life and well-being of patients, especially U.S. military veterans who suffer from Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
Maggie is a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with 30 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families who are dealing with various stages of life stress and other behavioral health concerns. Maggie has extensive training in mood disorders, dual diagnosis, eating disorders, and cultural diversity issues. She is multilinguial: fluent in English, Chinese-Mandarin, and Cantonese. Using cognitive behavioral therapy, brief therapy, family systems theory, and psychoeducation on the management of various symptoms, she also puts an emphasis on building a supportive and trusting relationship with her clients to assist them in achieving their life goals.
Amy Murphy is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and a Bachelor Of Science from Missouri State. Amy has over 17 years counseling experience in treatment settings including rehabilitation counseling, vocational, and not-for-profit. She has been in private practice the past 12 years with a wide range of clinical experience including individual, marriage, family, and with ages adolescent through adult. Amy provides cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and psycho-educational treatment approaches for depression, anxiety, ADHD, behavioral issues, grief, bipolar disorder, anger, stress management, and self-esteem issues.
Faith Caster is a graduate of University of Missouri Kansas City’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Post-Master's Certificate program. She obtained her MSN from Walden University with a specialization in Nursing Education. She obtained her BSN from Saint Louis University. Prior to joining AAA Psyche Care, she worked in another private practice in Wentzville. As a nurse educator, she has taught over 1000 nursing students over the years at the ADN, BSN, and MSN levels of education for several local institutions. As a nurse, she has worked in both pediatric and psychiatric settings including pediatric specialty care and remote pediatric triage as well as a variety of psychiatric settings: inpatient, intensive outpatient, ED psychiatric assessment, ECT, and as a behavioral health nursing supervisor. Area of interest: ADHD, especially in educating about the many nuanced aspects that a diagnosis of ADHD affects in an individual’s life – both for children and adults. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and working outside in her garden.
Dr. Erum Qazi is a board certified psychiatrist with a practice focus on completing the circle of a healthy mind, spirit, and body for her patients. She offers over 15 years of clinical expertise in anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, as well as personality disorders. Dr. Qazi prioritizes creating safe environments for her patients to express their concerns and challenges. She focuses on identifying underlying causes and stressors in order to customize treatment strategies coupling medicines and counseling. Dr. Qazi completed residency training at Saint Louis University. She spent 5 years at Mercy Hospital, Festus, Missouri as an outpatient psychiatrist.
Dr. Sarwar graduated from Jinnah Sindh Medical University and has been in practice for over a decade. She completed her general psychiatry residency at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She completed her child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Washington University in Saint Louis (WashU)/BJC. She was Chief Fellow in the Child and Adolescent department at WashU. She also completed certification in spirituality and was involved in research publication during her training at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
She is board-eligible for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She was an outpatient CAP psychiatrist at BJC-Behavioral Health after her graduation. She served as medical director for the CAP inpatient and outpatient program (IOP) at CenterPointe Hospital in Weldon Spring, Missouri. Dr. Sarwar maintains TMS Therapy Certification through the TMS Institute of America and currently provides TMS treatment at Precision TMS.
She emphasizes both psychopharmacological and therapeutic approaches for all of her patients. She sees preschoolers (above age 6) pediatric and adult ppopulations. She has a strong interest in autism, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
